The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was celebrated with great solemnity and enthusiasm on 2 July 2026 at the Infant Jesus School (IJS) campus. The occasion marked the formal induction of the newly elected School Leaders, Club Leaders and House Captains, who pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the institution through dedicated and responsible leadership.
Shri Umesh Kamble, CPI, Raichur West, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. In the presence of the school authorities, he ceremonially invested the Student Council with sashes, badges and house flags, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon the young leaders. He congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and encouraged them to lead with integrity, discipline and a spirit of service.
Delivering the keynote address, Fr. Sam Nalan, Manager of the Infant Jesus Group of Institutions, reminded the student leaders that true leadership is measured not by authority but by character and selfless service. Encouraging them to become role models, he said, “The finest leaders are those who inspire others through their actions, uphold noble values and work tirelessly for the good of all.” He urged the students to embrace every responsibility with commitment, humility and courage.
Speaking on behalf of the newly elected Student Council, the School Leader expressed sincere gratitude to the school management and teachers for the confidence reposed in them. The student leaders pledged to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and to work wholeheartedly for the welfare and progress of the entire school community.
The ceremony concluded on a vibrant and inspiring note, leaving students motivated to embark on a new journey of leadership, service and excellence. It marked not only the installation of office-bearers but also the beginning of a shared commitment to uphold the ideals of responsibility, teamwork and noble leadership throughout the academic year 2026–27.
