Bala Yesu CBSE School Conducts Club Badging Ceremony

Bala Yesu CBSE School, Raichur, conducted the Club Badging Ceremony for the ten newly established student clubs, launched under the theme “Serve • Lead • Grow.” Rev. Fr. Sam Nalan, Correspondent, and Rev. Fr. Arogya Dani, Assistant Manager, formally honoured the Club Leaders, Assistant Leaders, and Secretaries by presenting them with badges and officially installing them into their respective leadership roles. The Teacher Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators of the clubs were also initiated into their responsibilities. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Sam congratulated the student leaders and encouraged them to lead with dedication, responsibility, and a spirit of service. He urged them to inspire fellow students through active participation and meaningful club activities that contribute to the holistic development of the school community. Fr. Sam also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Sr. Shital, Principal of Bala Yesu CBSE School, for organising the ceremony with great care and excellence, making it a memorable occasion for both the students and the staff.

Empowered to Lead, Inspired to Excel: Balayesu School Investiture Ceremony 2026–27

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was celebrated with great solemnity and enthusiasm on 2 July 2026 at the Infant Jesus School (IJS) campus. The occasion marked the formal induction of the newly elected School Leaders, Club Leaders and House Captains, who pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the institution through dedicated and responsible leadership. Shri Umesh Kamble, CPI, Raichur West, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. In the presence of the school authorities, he ceremonially invested the Student Council with sashes, badges and house flags, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon the young leaders. He congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and encouraged them to lead with integrity, discipline and a spirit of service. Delivering the keynote address, Fr. Sam Nalan, Manager of the Infant Jesus Group of Institutions, reminded the student leaders that true leadership is measured not by authority but by character and selfless service. Encouraging them to become role models, he said, “The finest leaders are those who inspire others through their actions, uphold noble values and work tirelessly for the good of all.” He urged the students to embrace every responsibility with commitment, humility and courage. Speaking on behalf of the newly elected Student Council, the School Leader expressed sincere gratitude to the school management and teachers for the confidence reposed in them. The student leaders pledged to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and to work wholeheartedly for the welfare and progress of the entire school community. The ceremony concluded on a vibrant and inspiring note, leaving students motivated to embark on a new journey of leadership, service and excellence. It marked not only the installation of office-bearers but also the beginning of a shared commitment to uphold the ideals of responsibility, teamwork and noble leadership throughout the academic year 2026–27.

Environment Day Celebration

“Mother natures all parts are very useful for human being… so, we must conserve & protect the nature”. Worlds Environment Day was celebrated in Bala Yesu school with great fanfare on June 13. The main purpose of the celebration was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and the ways to do it. The activities like Skit, plantation drive, Green Pledge were designed for the students to perform from their homes thus keeping them aware of the environmental.

Teachers’ Orientation Seminar – Empowering Educators for Excellence

A Teachers’ Orientation Seminar was organized at the Infant Jesus School (IJS) Campus, Raichur, on 30th May 2026, with the objective of empowering teachers with renewed motivation, innovative teaching approaches, and effective classroom practices for the new academic year. Around 90 teachers from Infant Jesus School (IJS) and Bala Yesu School (BYS), Raichur, actively participated in this enriching and inspiring seminar. The resource person for the programme was Mr. Michael Paul from Ahmedabad, an experienced trainer and motivational speaker, who guided the teachers through meaningful sessions on enhancing teaching skills, developing a positive attitude, and making learning more effective and student-centred. The programme began with a prayer of blessing led by Rev. Fr. Arogya Dani, Assistant Manager, invoking God’s blessings upon all the teachers and the mission of education. Rev. Fr. Sam Nalan, Manager of IJS and BYS, presented the purpose and significance of the orientation programme, encouraging the teachers to recognize their noble vocation and their powerful role in shaping the future of students. Sr. Shital, Principal of BYS, warmly welcomed the resource person and the gathering. The seminar commenced at 9:30 a.m. and concluded at 4:30 p.m. Throughout the day, the teachers participated with great enthusiasm and involvement in various interactive sessions, activities, and reflections. The programme provided valuable insights, practical strategies, and renewed inspiration to make the teaching-learning process more creative, effective, and meaningful. At the conclusion of the seminar, Mr. Michael Paul was honoured and appreciated by Rev. Fr. Sam Nalan, Rev. Fr. Arogya Dani, and Mr. Benjamin John, Administrator for his valuable contribution and inspiring guidance. The entire programme was efficiently coordinated and anchored by Sr. Albina. Mrs. Rekha proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed towards the success of the seminar. The orientation seminar was truly a refreshing and enriching experience, motivating the teachers of IJS and BYS to begin the academic year with greater commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication towards the holistic formation of every student.
